We encourage applications from a wide range of artists of different cultural and geographic backgrounds. We are open for applications for all phases - from initial research to finishing works.
Our intention is to create and facilitate temporary collectives for emerging artists to work and live together. We offer residencies of 90 days accomodating 6 artists at a time.
The program is self-organised and as a young non-profit organisation unfortunately we're currently unable to provide financial assistance for the artists in residents.
The residency fee is 250.000 ISK (approximately 2050 Euro). The residency fee is to be paid in advance and is non-refundable. Residents must provide for their own food, travel, and miscellaneous expenses.
Residents will be selected based on the quality of their work, commitment to their practice, and ability to interact positively with the community at large.
Applications for 2018 is open now. It may be useful to read though our "FAQ" before applying.
Deadline for applications is February 4th 2018.
